Is there a warranty?

Yes.  We offer a one year warranty on parts and labor for normal use.

 

Can I return The BumbleBee?

You can.  You may use The BumbleBee for 30 days at no risk.  If you don't like it at that point, we'll refund the purchase price (less shipping).

 

How do I clean a BumbleBee?

With a REALLY tiny brush, and try not to get stung.

Actually, our Bumblebee is tough enough to throw in the dishwasher (top rack please) or wash in hot soapy water.  Even better: it doesn't have to be done after every use like a cup, since the beverage never comes in contact with it.

You can use disinfectant sprays or wipes if you feel the need.

We also recommend that you periodically inspect the Bee Bands on The BumbleBee when cleaning it.  If you see signs of damage or excessive wear, we offer replacement bands.

 

Are there shipping charges?

For purchases of one or two BumbleBees, shipping charges are applied based on the destination address (typically $5 - $10).

For orders over $50 shipping is FREE!  Better yet, may we suggest The Original BumbleBee Three-Pack.  Save 5% and get the free shipping.

 

Why Yellow?  Just so you can call it a BumbleBee?

Nope.  Yellow is bright, cheery, and easy for older persons to see.  It was also the color used for the 3D printed prototypes during product development and the black flex bands suddenly looked like bee stripes.  It was accidental.

 

Can a BumbleBee be recycled?

Absolutely, 100%!  The shell is Polycarbonite (super tough) and the Bee Bands are Nitrile (just like the surgical gloves).

Incidentally, the packaging in which The BumbleBee arrives is also biodegradable.  We specifically use paper and cardboard for this reason.

 

What fits in a BumbleBee?

Most cans, bottles, cups, and boxes from 8 to 30 ounces.  We have a list here of what has been tested and verified.
